Concerning the pastiche Patton Oswalt was referring to

Post by CharlesNelson »

Mr. Schwartz, if it isn't too much to ask, does this mystery song that, according to Patton Oswalt, "starts as a SPECIFIC parody of a SPECIFIC song & then ends up celebrating their whole catalog" count as one of the new album's 6 originals or one of the parodies?

I don't think we've ever done a parody that celebrates an artist's whole catalog, so I'll guess it's an original. However, the originals usually touch on multiple vibes of the target artist, so I really have no clue as to which of the 5 possible songs he's talking about, although 2 of them do cover a bit more territory than the others.
