Dr Demento's real name is Barry Hansen. You'll find that among the thank yous of every Weird Al album there's one for BEH -- that would be Dr D. Not sure what the E. stands for -- probably Eugene.

You'd also find his name on the list of Players at - where else - weirdal.com of course!
