After listening to the commentary, I can see where they came to the conclusions about the rating descriptions. I'd forgotten that the commentary or extra features can sometimes change the ratings of things when DVD releases come about.

I'll go scan the magnets and find somewhere to host them in a moment.

EDIT: Here they are. My apologies that the scan isn't the best quality it could have been, but I didn't want to keep magnets in my scanner too long on the offchance that they damage it somehow.

Australian Boy, the JB I went to was in QLD on the Gold Coast, but I decided to mention it to everyone due to the fact that JB stores in general are reknowned for often putting stuff out on the shelves when the shipments come in, as opposed to keeping them in storage until the proper release date. Not all JB stores do this, but most get shipments in on Thursdays.

Best of luck. :peace:

I just called my local JB and it took four people to find out if they had it, FOUR. And it was on the shelf the whole time...they're holding a copy for me so I'll get dad to get it later YAY!

EDIT: dad got TWAS for me on his way home from work, so I have it right now.

*goes to rip the discs to my hard drive before watching*

ANOTHER EDIT: mine wasn't $29.98 like Pookster said, it was $27

$27 eh? Sounds like whoever pricemarked them might possibly be an Al fan! Nice. :D

And FOUR people you say? Yeah, they're not the brightest bulbs on the christmas tree, them folks at JB. I found my copy on the shelf straight after asking someone at the counter about it. They told me it wouldn't be available until Monday. So when I found it on the shelf I made a point of purchasing it at his register. Odd though, he didn't bat an eyelid! :P

after reading your post about it being in stores now, I called my local store and the conversation went something like this:

person #1: how may I help you?
me: I was wondering if you had TWAS in yet?
person #1: I'll check for you...
[put me on hold for a few minutes]

person #2: what were you holding for?
me: I was enquiring about a DVD
person #2: what DVD was it?
me: TWAS
person #2: I'll go and see if we have that
[goes to find DVD, without putting me on hold]

person #3: how may I help you?
me: I was enquiring about a DVD
person #3: what DVD was it?
me: TWAS
person #3: I don't think we have that, I'll go and check
[goes and checks]

person #4: how may I help you?
me: I was enquiring about a DVD
person #4: what DVD was it?
me: TWAS
person #4: we have that on the shelf, would you like us to hold a copy for you?

It took four people to determine that TWAS was in fact in store, on the shelf. And really isn't a very big store, I don't work there and I could've walked right and found it. But I did get it 3 days before the release and a whole $3 cheaper so I can't really complain

Maybe it was like "Invaders from Mars," only each employee disappeared and got snatched by aliens as soon as they approached the DVD department.

Yep, I got it too, except at a specialised music/dvd shop. I rang my local JB, and they did not have it (but I did ring in the morning, it could have been delivered in the afternoon). The DVD is cool! Ironically, it does seem, a little like Uncle Nutsy Clubhouse, for real! I wonder whether this was intentional... But the ALTV bits are the best. I wish there was a special playlist so it can play all of the ALTV bits. And easter eggs. Is there any easter eggs?

Not that I could find on the net anywhere. As for the special playlist for the AL-TV bits, I agree, that would have been awesome. I edited together my own DVD yesterday containing just the channel hopping, Educational films and home movies, so I don't have to sift through it to find certain things that I may want to show friends when they visit.
