Plus, I think it would've been FUNNIER to have the solo (OK, maybe shortened solo) played on accordion.

Where was the solo supposed to be in the song?

And it's not even like the solo is terribly complex or anything.

Plus, if he had done a video, that could've been the part where thousands of gallons of maple syrup erupts from the speakers. ;)

Yeah, it's not a very long solo or anything, he really should have included it.
Though that song kind of disappoints me in general, it doesn't seam like it would be all that difficult, but he somehow didn't really capture Green Day's sound.

Well, it is Green Day. Kinda goes without saying.

Yeah, this was brought up when the album came out. I don't know what happened, but those guitars are nowhere near the right kind of distortion (especially the beginning, it's supposed to sound really compressed). And the equalizing on the drums is way far off. Al is a master of capturing the original sound, but wow, he totally missed the mark on that.

I can forgive the slight differences on that one... This was before digital technology, which I'm sure makes sounding like the original A TON easier, and plus, he's not THAT far off.

Yeah, like someone pointed out (Jace I think), the beginning guitars didn't really even match. Kinda off, which is odd for Al as usually tries to match it as perfectly as possible.

I like Green Day. Guess that's a bad thing?
