This is actually a good idea. I can think of a few more off the top of my head, and so will Al if someone gets this to him.Yankomaniac wrote:He could almost make a motion picture compilation with The Saga Begins, Gump, Yoda, even Nature Trail To Hell, UHF, Ode To A Superhero...you get the point, may not be able to find 10 altogether though.

JCM, Al doesn't like the compilations, the record company does

Well, the people do, and that's what should really matter in Al's eyes.

Re: The Food Album
I would much rather have the album that those song were on in the first place... no need for comp's when you already own the songs... look at me talk, I have no Al cds

Re: The Food Album
Dang! Out of all the cheesy comps, this one is easily the best. And, it went GOLD!JCM wrote:Yes.
BTW, where is the info on the CDs being demoted to budget releases. I know I read it and posted a thread about it, but is there an outside third-party source?
Way to support the artist.joseyklein wrote:I would much rather have the album that those song were on in the first place... no need for comp's when you already own the songs... look at me talk, I have no Al cds

Re: The Food Album
Hey Shutup!!! LOL!!! The reason I have no Al cds, is because all my cds were stolen in my moving process from Cali to Washington, so I am trying to figure out where I can buy them all at once, and not online since I don't have that capability at this time.

Guess you'll look after them better next time you move. I lost a whole box of CD's that way, there were 4 or 5 Al CD's in there I had to rebuy. Along with a bunch of others.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Re: The Food Album
When I first started getting into Al's music, my friend let me borrow Greatest Hits Volume 2 and The Food Album. The food album was a great introduction, and because I really liked "I Love Rocky Road" and "My Bologna" I ended up buying his self-titled and Dare to Be Stupid albums (on cassette) shortly after. (Dare to Be Stupid because the song titles sounded very funny to me.) I even used The Food Album as a tracker to see what albums I was missing. UHF the Soundtrack was so hard to find and I wouldn't have known it had existed if it wasn't for "Spam" on The Food Album.
