Ok, so it looks like 3 of us will be there. Im planning to be arriving in the city by 730. Hopefully this damn rain stops

I fear for him appearing on a show like The View. Some punk kid producer is likely to be unfamiliar with Al and not give him the proper respect. Hopefully the show hosts will pay him his respect.

He appeared on The View right after Alpocalypse came out, and while the hosts were completely clueless, it wasn't terrible. I'm sure he'll get plenty of ignorant questions, but it's not like he's not used to it.

The announcer mispronounced Al's name twice now already.

I seriously hope Al isn't too polite to point that out. Though I'm not sure if he can even hear the announcer.

Well, that was...short.

They were very complimentary, though, so I liked that.

I love Whoopi's idea though! Al should do a whole album of educational parodies!!! I'll buy 25 copies!

I just found out that Al was on the View today. It will air again on the west coast but I am unable to record it and due to my location, I am unable to stream the show. If anyone recorded it or can record the west coast airing, would you please upload the full hour?

They showed the first verse of "Word Crimes" and then talked about how he came up for the idea of the song.

He mentioned that there were already a lot of parodies about how the song was "rapey" so he did it about grammar instead.

Then they talked about common grammar errors for a little bit.

Then, Whoopi said that Al should do more educational songs like this about history and math and so forth. She said that if anyone can make an impact in education through music, it's Al.

That was about it.

ABC puts full episodes on their site the day after(maybe even later the same evening, I forget). Al looked good and the hosts were fine with him. It was nice after the announcer could not even get his name right..
