Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

That's what makes it so funny!
Yes, that's the whole premise itself! The movie already cast them way too old to play high schoolers as part of the joke (since a lot of 80s movies that it was spoofing would do that with actors) and so this time the joke is that they're WAYYYYY too old to play high schoolers, and yet playing even younger than they were last time :P

I haven't gotten around to watching the show yet but I'm excited to eventually. The movie is so bizarre but I loved it.

I finally had the chance to see this series. Everyone who has been saying it was "just okay" or "nothing special" is a big fat idiot!
I loved it!! Every scene was incredible! David Wain can do no wrong in my book!

Having said that, if you were only watching this for Al's cameo, or if you never saw the movie, I can't imagine you would like it that much. The series is very much a companion piece to the cult classic film, not something that could possibly be enjoyed as a standalone show.

I didn't see the movie, but I still loved the entire series. So much laughs.
My experience was to watch for Al, of which he is wrongly stated to be in every episode on IMDB (did they fix that?) but like. Ten minutes in I was hooked.
I still find it funny they were able to spread a day into 8 episodes. Some of my favourite parts were with Michael Cera, because blank pieces of paper is some good, hard evidence. 8)

Most of the jokes were references to, or backstories of, things that happen in the movie!

I. like BullMoose, liked the series even though I have not seen the movie. I may just go find it to watch! I enjoyed Al's cameo, and I figured it was just a cameo. That is usually what he does.
Is my dude a dweeb?
