Nerd Block

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

I got my box in the mail today. I'll put the contents in a spoiler tag in case other people who ordered it and haven't received it yet don't want to know what was in it.
Spoiler:
An exclusive variant of the Simpsons action figure with his current look, an "exclusive" paperback copy of Weird Al: The Book (is it an exclusive because it's paperback vs hardcover?) and an exclusive Tacky shirt that has a black-and-white drawing of Al in his dictator outfit with a mustache and glasses drawn on it in pink and the word Tacky splashed across the shirt. Non-Al items were a Spaceballs print art, a Family Guy can koozie and Archer ice cube trays. Here's link to an image of everything in it (not my picture, it makes the writing on the Tacky shirt look red, not the pink that it is on mine) scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/s640x640/sh0.08/e35/12328009_1603166360006282_946178776_n.jpg (add the http:// I took it out so the link wouldn't be visible in the spoiler box)

I got mine today! I'm very happy with all of it, as I had nothing Weird Al related yet.
Spoiler:
Especially the book was a nice surprise, as I'd been wanting to get it but had decided to wait and ask for it for my birthday. And the t-shirt made me laugh very much.
Love and peace.

Now that everyone pretty much knows what's in their Nerdblock box and I just now got mine, I decided an unboxing video was unnecessary (also because it took me a while to figure out how to open the box anyway :lookaround: ).

Instead, here are some pictures of the Al related items from the box (please excuse the quality of the iPhone pictures, it is only a 6):

Image

Paperback! I already have a hard cover book, but if anyone is in need of this book, I am willing to give it to you! Otherwise I'll probably just use this one to rip out pages and use them as posters. I WILL wallpaper my wall with the Weird Al book.

No 'stache! #repaint

Image

The back is the same, however. (I assume! I don't have the original. Hint hint.)

Image

This is clearly the most important picture I took.

Image

They kept the bangs for some reason

Image

This Nerdblock was worth it just for the shirt, IMO. It's so friggin rad.

Image

Look how punk this is

Image

I love it so much. Way better than the "official" Tacky shirt. Fits nicer, too!

Image

Oh please Al not in front of everyone :inlove:

Image

This month's theme was PARODY. I did not take their advice to keep Al in the packaging, obviously. I needed to hold him.

Image

List of things that came with the box. I got a Barf Spaceballs print! :3

Those who enjoy Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Rick and Morty, Funko Pop vinyl figures, "and more" may want to consider signing up for next month's box.

Mine didn't have the Spaceballs print so I've emailed them, this was my second most anticipated item. Everything else is cool

I got the Dark Helmet pic. I framed it and hung it on my wall. (also I framed one of my Al paintings :o )

I'm enjoying making my way through the book as I didn't have it yet. So far there isn't really much in there that I didn't already know, but it's nice to have it all compiled like that, and it's fun to see all the pictures and additional comments by Al.
Love and peace.

Email them. Sometimes you can get a previous box if you're super lucky

Judging by the generic reply (complete with the misspelled version of my name) that seems like a reply to a tech support issue (as opposed to a "hey, I slacked but still wanna exchange money for goods wih you" question)... I'm not holding my breath.
Hi Andrian,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will investigate and keep you posted.
