And the answer to the 27 dollar question
Spoiler:
The Prince line remains
This honestly may be his best talk show appearance ever. The interview was casual and laid back. The performance was great, and the presentation by Colbert's crew made it feel really special.

I just watched Al on the Late Show...
It was so great the way he was treated.
Colbert did a few funny digs, but all in all they were so good to him.
I loved it when it was revealed that all of Colbert's crew went backstage to say "Hi" to him,
It showed just how beloved this wonderful man and performer is.
I also loved it that they had the audience standing up and be-bopping while he sang his song. So great when he went into the audience!
I don't remember any other performance where they did that. I watched Cold Play last night and not a soul moved.

Al just keeps on rocking!!! :accordion:
