Wonder what he's gonna perform, since he doesn't have any new material out. Maybe he will do something NOT from the tour...*cough cough Mission Statement cough cough*

FINALLY!!! Only took 11 years!!
Awesome, can't wait to see this!
I would guess Word Crimes as a potential performance, since it's a fairly big hit which hasn't been performed live on TV yet.

Besides "Word Crimes", I'd say "First World Problems" and "NOW That's What I Call Polka!" (even if the songs on it seem a little dated at this point) are other distinct possibilities from this current album/tour cycle that haven't been done on TV yet (or maybe a mini-medley of a truncated FWP followed by Foil). I could see Al trying to do Mission Statement with surprise cameos by the real CSN if for no other reason than Fallons' people stopped this from happening two summers ago because they were apparently overbooked and maybe Al just wants to try and make this happen one more time. If Jim doesn't have any prior engagements next Thursday, it would be a real shame for them to do a song without any guitar/banjo parts for him.

I just realized how funny it would be if Al performed "NOW That's What I Call Polka!" on Colbert. I mean, think about it. For this album/tour cycle he first performed "Tacky" on Conan and then performed "Lame Claim To Fame" on Ferguson. It might have been pure coincidence but Al may intentionally or not be just going down the MF tour set list for his talk show performances this cycle.

Al performed Sports Song on Jimmy Fallon's show last year.
I wonder if Prince's death will prevent him from performing Word Crimes.
I'd love to see him sing First World Problems. I wish they could blow his hair around like they do in concert! :inlove:
Then he'd be properly dressed if he sits down afterwards as a guest. Can't see him being a guest in his striped Thicke suit.

Oh...he probably won't perform FWP because of the Amanda Palmer part.
Too bad. :(

Since that hasn't stopped him before, why would that stop him now?
