World of Weird Al Yankovic

According to the Mothership, not only do we have Al's upcoming How To Be A Latin Lover appearance/re-recording of Happy Birthday later this month, but he also wrote the theme song for a movie that's coming out this summer!

Amy ideas to what it might be? Here are some thoughts I had.

Found this last night, decided not to post because I figured I was probably the only one who hadn't seen it (since it was so far down on the news page). No idea what it's for, but I can't wait to get a new Al song!

If I had to make a guesstimate, I would say Captain Underpants. Especially considering the original chapter book references George and Harold playing "Weird Al" over the loud speakers of the elementary school. It would further the allusion.

I was definitely in the "Captain Underpants seems like the best bet" pool, but with the movie coming out in less than a month, and still no announcement, it doesn't seem very likely.

Another idea I had: Possibly The Emoji Movie? I don't know, doesn't look very good, but possibly?

Please no...

Honestly, I don't think that would be too far-fetched of a guess.

Really liked it! Not Al's funniest, but it was a lot of fun. Will have to listen a few more times before giving full thoughts, but man, was it great having a new Al song to listen to.
