Well, judge whatever you want, I could care less...

However, I don't think we should have "unfortunately" in a tag line for an Al performance. We're definitely fortunate anytime we get a performance.

Hmm... I wish we could get Craigslist on its leathery glory, but... songs from The Essential?

My wishlist:
* The Night Santa Went Crazy (everyone knows that late October and Christmas are just about the same)
* You Don't Love Me Anymore
* Melanie

My guess list:
* W&N
* Canadian Idiot
* I'll Sue Ya
* Amish Paradise (?)

I think it's likelier that he'll want to do something from SOL. But anything might happen

Does anyone know if he gets to perform one or two songs?

Right, it's just unfortunate that it had to be on Jimmy Fallon's show.

PS I am now also judging you for mistakenly writing "I could care less" rather than the more accurate "I couldn't care less." :online:

Who said that wasn't what I meant? I really COULD care less, because I really don't care that much... :D

Now, let's just take that "unfortunately" off the title and just get excited about Essential and the performance!

Billion dollar idea: White and Nerdy with the Roots as a backing band.

Never would happen...but.....wow. It sounds awesome in my mind.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

I can take credit for Al's appearance. On one episode, Fallon asked people to Tweet who they'd want to perform. The next day, I tweeted this:

@jimmyfallon Get Weird Al on Late Night! He just released a new song, so it would be good promotion. Aren't you guys good golf pals?

I win!

Any collaboration with Weird Al and The Roots would be off the skillet!!!!!!

And as for Alinite27, if you don't care that much then you would want to say you couldn't care less, not that you could care less. If you could care less then there are things you care about less. That particular expression has got to be my number one pet peeve of grammar/spelling/usage.

No one uses words like 'skillet' anymore. Please, stop making conversations awkward with your extinct grammar.

(squirts Windex into everyone's faces) QUIT FIGHTING!!!

I kinda doubt it'll be one of the "hits" of yore, like Amish or W&N. The point of any talk show performance is to get people to buy the new album by playing the new single. Lacking a new song, the next best thing would be something relatively obscure, that not as many people have heard. If Al performs "White & Nerdy," there's the danger that the audience might assume he hasn't done anything in three years.

See, THIS is why Al should've put some Internet Leaks tracks on Essential!
