Kirk Cameron starred in "Growing Pains" with Alan Thicke. Alan made comments on some of the "I Love the 80's" segments that Al also did.

Julia Child was in Livewire.
So was Pierce Brosnan.
Pierce Brosnan was the voice of the Simpsons' Superhouse on a Treehouse of Horror.
Al was on an episode of the Simpsons too.

1. Ellen Muth was in Delores Claiborne with Jennifer Jason Leigh
2. JJL was in Fast Times at Ridgemont High with Sean Penn
3. In FTARH, Sean Penn's character, Jeff Spicoli, bears a striking resemblance to Padres shortstop Khalil Greene.
4. The Padres recently played a series against the Atlanta Braves.
5. Al mentions that he gets Bugs Bunny direct from Atlanta in his song "Cable TV".

Okay, I know I'm cheating here, so I won't suggest a new name, but:

Orel Hershiser's brand-new car was impacted by my friend Chris's car in the Dodger Stadium parking lot many years ago (and Chris said Mr. Hershiser was very gracious about the whole thing). Chris knows me, and I've met Al. :)

Now somebody can do Mr. Hershiser for real. :P

No, I'm not making it up. Although maybe at one point Chris wished it was a tall tale.

Ok.

Paula Dean was a guest on Be the Next Food Network Star.
Emeril was on the last episode to announce the winner.
Emeril has had Queen Latifa as a guest.
who has sang hooks for Missy Elliot.
Frequent collaborator of Diddy
who did the song "All About the Pentiums"
which Al parodied. (That's six steps)

Ok, so maybe Paula Dean was a little hard. How about Randy Jackson?
