Bradley Nowell was also compared to Kurt Conain on other occasions too. That was just one of the instances I could think of.

Well yeah they do OE, of course they do, but I mean a poor link like Barney Killer made "such and such was compared to such and such" it's too poor.

a Sublime song was covered by Reel Big Fish, as well as an influece on RBF's hit song Beer.
Dan Regan, former trombone player for Reel Big Fish, performed on Your Horoscope For Today.

Not sure if this fits the rules, but you can also make the connection through Jim "Kimo" West.
Jim produced and performed on the album, The Hawaiian Tribute to Sublime: Livin's EZ. Jim, along with some other musicians, recorded Hawaiian-style versions of some Sublime's songs.
