I love ALL of Al's polkas of course....but I can't help but want a standard next time around. I like to hear a variety of new popular songs polkafyed. When he goes with a single theme or artist, he might miss a great song of a different theme or artist...and dang it! I want it all!
Very tasty!

I'm gonna stick with my thoery I had a while back it'll be a Johnny Cash tribute polka. Like Freddy Mercury, Cash has a special place musically in Al's life.

And no comments from the peanut gallery :D
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

"I love Yankovic," you make a good point! In fact, Al did miss a major fad in music by doing the Angry White Boy Polka. He completely missed the huge wave of girl-pop singers, like J Lo, Christina, Britney, Jessica Simpson, Pink, Ashanti, Destiny's Child, Shakira, etc. He DID include Avril Lavigne in a parody, but I wouldn't really lump her into that group, since she is actually more of a rock artist. That and she writes her own stuff.

But still, I rather prefer the themed polkas, whether they are genre themes or artist themes.

"A Hard Day's Polka" would be cool. So would "Polka This Way" :Y

Although I'm not too sad about it Al also missed the techno-ish rock that's coming out now like Eiffel 65 and Linkin Park.

Well, as we know, there are two types of songs in music showbiz:

1) Songs that are jst CRYING to be a polka;
2) Songs that we'd never expect to be polkafied.

How about a medley of all-time polka hits???

"Synonym" is an anthonym for "homonym".

But then it wouldn't be weird. People like to see polkafied songs in the second catergorie because nobody expects them. Like Chop Suey! or Last Resort or The Real Slim Shady.

Yeah, a polka medley of polka songs would be kind of redundant.
