Me & a few friends have been playing Weird Al concerts at my school for the past couple years. Do any of you ever get together with friends & sing Al songs at parties/School shows etc?.
I do vocals/Nirvana guitar I also have a 2nd guitar player a bass player a drummer and a piano player.

A group of Japanese college kids came to my school 2 weeks ago and we set up a bunch of groups to perform "western culture". Me along with 4 others played an Al concert with costume changes. We played a Short version of the MF set with some of my schools mini films. this was the set:

1. Tacky
2. NOW That's What I Call Polka!
3. Foil
VIDEO - Gay/Lesbian support FAQ
4. Perform This Way
VIDEO - Forest Movie
5. Dare To Be Stupid
VIDEO - Coding FAQ
6. Smells Like Nirvana
VIDEO - Ouija Broad FAQ
7. Canadian Idiot
LUNCH BREAK VIDEO - Art Show
8. Acoustic Medley:
Eat It, I Lost On Jeopardy, I Love Rocky Road, Like A Surgeon
VIDEO - Drugs Movie
9. White & Nerdy
VIDEO - Poison Movie
10. Word Crimes
VIDEO - Movie Trailer
11. Amish Paradise
ENCORE
12. The Saga Begins
13. Yoda

It was fun to do. They only seemed to know Eat It. Word Crimes was the biggest downer for them.

We cut these songs:
Lame Claim To Fame - We thought they wouldn't understand.
Fat - The fat suit we got was smurf.
First World Problems - Same reason as LCTF.
Medley - Too many song that they wouldn't understand.
Wanna B Ur Lovr - We thought it might make people uncomfortable.

These Songs we were going to cut but we decided against it:
Perform This Way - We were told not to play this as the gay/lesbain student are very defensive of the original. So we played a GLBT tribute beforehand.
Smells Like Nirvana - We thought they wouldn't understand but we did it anyways.
Canadian Idiot - Same as Nirvana.
White & Nerdy/Word Crimes - More of a western thing but we like to do these ones.

Share your stories I would love to hear them.

That is awesome! :whoot:

You wouldn't happen to have any photos or video, would you?

As for me, not so much in the way of full-blown concerts, but I (and others) had been part of many TV episodes of sketch comedy, live comedy on stage (improv, stand-up, you name it), short films, music videos, you name it. I would inject some Al into the proceedings, or Al-inspired humor, quite often. I would do musical performances of Al songs as the "musical guest," would put together shows (both live and recorded) where there were funny videos (like fake movie trailers, funny PSAs, and so on) in between comedy pieces or songs, and so on. And like I mentioned when I first joined, I got the school TV show to be much more popular with both staff and students by injecting some U-62 in there. We would add humor when appropriate, have funny sketches / fake movie trailers as a treat at the end of the show, and just made it something that everyone looked forward to seeing each morning.

Somewhere, I think I have some of these things on tape. I always wonder what I would think of what I did if I found them and looked at them again.

It's really shitty compared to a real Al concert. We were calling are selves on school music sheets "Weird Al Knockoff" LOL

There's nothing shitty about anything done out of love for Al, and about people having fun. :)

Of course they do! Do they include imaginary videos and costume changes?
