Celebrity Death Match Video Game

Post by Bruce the Duck »

I just saw on Nintendo.com that in September, they will release a video game version of MTV's Celebrity Death Math for the GameCube system. I'm assuming that the game will be a fighting game in the spirit of Super Smash Brothers and others like that. There's no word yet as to whether Al will be one of the playable characters. In fact, none of the characters have been revealed yet. Let's hope!

For those of you who don't know, a claymation version of Al appeared a few years ago in a match against then Vice President Al Gore. Unlike the last election, Gore actually won the match. Al didn't provide the voice for his cartoon self, but the fight was one of the best on the series.

As scotti once told me, lets keep politics out. That statement you made is much debated, you know.

Huh? Yes, I know Gore won the popular vote, but last time I checked, Bush was the one in the White House. How can that be debated? Anyway, sorry. I didn't realize that would be seen as a "political" comment. Just reporting news about the video game!

This is a multi-platform release game, meaning it's not only for Gamecube, meaning, it won't be like Super Smash Brothers ;)

From what I've read, it's a game where you don't have any life meter(?) but your character gets more and more beat up. Sounds fun. The character list so far is:

Dennis Rodman

Carrot Top

Anna Nicole(hahaha!)

Tommy Lee

One of the announcers

Several N*Sync characters(?)

Marilyn Manson

Carmen Elekra

And some others

As of yet, Weird Al is not in the game :(

I think he's just saying it will be available on all the game platforms. This is good for someone who only has a PS2 or an XBox
