I was looking to see if there was a Yankovic Family Crest (Coat Of Arms) and only found a really lame one.

We can do better than that.

So I'm making a contest. There is a prize being offered of a genuine WAY collectible! The deadline for submission is Dec. 27 (midnight Pacific time.)

Don't have any photo editing software? There's a nifty free one here. You can submit a hand drawn or other medium, as long as it can be scanned to share online.

I made a crest template you can use here. Apologies for the evil pop-ups.

You can direct link it here (if you have the ability,) otherwise just email it to the addy in the link above.

Oh, and no images from The Mothership. If you need a good image of our boy, contact me and I'll check my personal concert photos to see if I have something suitable. If you use a pic from any of our members, please ask permission first.

Ok, I'm a bit confused when it comes to stuff like this. What exactly is a family crest? I know it's some sort of family symbol, but I need vivid details and dental floss.

Well it usually has symbols or sayings that symbolize something about the family.

Just wondering, where did you find the picture of the Yankovic Family Coat of Arms? I had been looking for one when I made my fanart from "A Complicated Song" (Cousin Al), but I was unable to find a good (or big, for that matter) one.

What is the deadline for the art work? Also I don't have any programs....I saw the free one, but I do a lot better with color pencils. Can I draw it, then scan it. or does it have to be computer generated?

Drawing by hand is cool as long as you can scan it to share.

How about Dec. 27 for a deadline?

Oh, and should it be a straight vote, or a Survivor series?
