SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE

Remember to look for the hidden clues as to the Survivor's tribe! ;)

Image

Genius in Maine - Easily one of the strongest players we've yet to see on Weird Al Survivor, GIM quietly climbed his way to the top of the pile in the first season. As a Poodle, GIM, a relative WOWAY newbie at the time, managed to forge a strong alliance with several WOWAY longtimers. That alliance paid off big time after the merge, when the Poodles' keen game play allowed them to pick off the Hamsters one-by-one.

But GIM's strength as a player went beyond the alliance itself. He allowed anthontherun to take the position of leader in the alliance, which diverted the target from himself onto anth. It also forced anth to be the one to lie to and backstab Hamster alliance-leader, Driew_La_27. GIM then went on to skillfully win several Individual Immunity challenges and a free WOWAY LOVERS membership! GIM was the only player in the game to not have ANY votes cast against him in season one.

In the end, given the decision of choosing between his two alliance partners, anth and Kevbo, GIM chose Kevbo to take to the final two. This may have been GIM's only mistake in the game, as Kevbo won the game! But showing what a great guy he was, GIM didn't regret his decision.

So, how will he fare in All Stars? Will his strong game play make him an immediate threat? Will former tribemates feel a sense of betrayal or of loyalty towards GIM for his actions in the first season? Will his trustworthyness and likeable nature in the game make him a friend or a foe? Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins! :Y

SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE #2

Remember, to look for the hidden clues as to the Survivor's Tribe. ;)
And now, our Survivor All Star Profile #2:

==============================================================

Image

M3m3s3 - Using her charm and likeability as a weapon in Season 2, Melissa was a fierce competitor. Playing against the likes of Dr_Dad (one of the wisest Al fans on the forum), Elvis (one of the most knowledgeable Al fans), and Bruce the Duck (creator of Weird Al Survivor), she knew that she had her work cut out for her. She also knew that it would be neccessary to remove those three threats as early as possible.

In the Crazed Weasels tribe, she formed early alliances with many of her teammates, including Elvis. But she was also making plans for much further down the road. Even before the tribes merged, she had made an illegal alliance with Radioactive Hamster, CurlyFries (who went on to become the runner up in the game). Unfortunately, during a fateful Immunity Challenge before the merge, she let loose a congradulatory remark for CurlyFries, tipping Elvis on to the fact that she had a secret alliance with CF. (After the game was over, Melissa revealed that she ACTUALLY messed up and thought CF was on her tribe during that challenge!)

Melissa's plan was to gather the strength of the Crazed Weasels (who had a numerical lead going into the merge), along with CurlyFries, and vote off Bruce the Duck and Dr_Dad. Then, she would zero in on Elvis, and then continue to pick off the remaining Radioactive Hamsters. But all of her scheming caught up to her when CF revealed to Bruce the Duck Melissa's plans. After sharing that information with Dr_Dad and Elvis, BTD was able to swing enough votes to eliminate M3m3s3. She became the first player voted out after the merge, but due to the disappearance of Mr. Carl, she also became the first member of the jury.

So, how will all of her scheming affect her gameplay in All Stars? Will her tribe trust her or throw her overboard? Will she be able to make multiple alliances, or will she be an outcast in her own tribe? And will she finally get that proposal she's been waiting for from Bruce the Duck, now host of the show? Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins! Be there!

SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE #3

Remember, to look for the hidden clues as to the Survivor's Tribe. ;)
And now, our Survivor All Star Profile #3:

Image

anthontherun - Clearly one of the strongest players NOT to win Weird Al Survivor, anthontherun totally dominated the first season. He formed an alliance with his fellow Poodles that would lead them to the end of the game. He backstabbed others only when neccessary. He stayed loyal to his core alliance. And he led them all to the end.

Although there were several other very strong players on his tribe (sarley27, Kevbo1987, Genius in Maine), anth was the one in control. He made all the major decisions and he was the one who almost single-handedly stole the rug out from under the Hamsters. But he also made some critical errors. Along with Driew_La_27, anth constantly spoke about how much he loved the show, Survivor. They also did quite a bit of trash talking. And both were revealed at Tribal Council Chats to be the leaders of their respective tribes.

This mistake made anthontherun a considerable target. Had the Hamsters managed to muster the strength to overcome the Poodles after the merge, there is little doubt that anthontherun would have been the first to go! Ultimately, the mistake cost anth the game when Genius in Maine won the final Immunity Challenge. GIM chose Kevbo1987 to go with him to the final two, possibly because he saw anth as too much of a threat. Based on a post-game poll, anthontherun would have won the game had he been in the final two.

So, how will anth alter his gameplay next time? Will he continue to brag and talk trash against the other tribe? Will his strength as a player make him a strong target or a powerful ally? Will he continue to play the leader of his tribe or will he allow others to take control? Will his betrayal of Driew_La_27 come back to haunt him or help him as he plays with former alliance member, GIM? Ultimately, will anthontherun show that he has learned from his past experiences? Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins!

SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE #4

Remember, to look for the hidden clues as to the Survivor's Tribe. ;)
And now, our Survivor All Star Profile #4:

Image

DrSteggy - In a season dominated by women, Jackie was one of the best and most strategic. And although her strong alliance and willingness to stab a friend in the back helped her get to the end, it was ultimately what prevented her from winning the game. Early on, as members of the Petroleum Joes, DrSteggy and weirdallie27 made an alliance to the end. After winning 3 out of 4 tribal challenges, the Petroleum Joes alliance went into the merge with a significant advantage.

After the merge, weirdallie27 went on to win challenge after challenge, keeping her alliance safe and bringing DrSteggy all the way to the end. Finally, during the final Immunity Challenge, DrSteggy narrowly defeated Allie, and earning the right to choose who would sit with her in the finals. While everyone fully expected Jackie to pick Allie, she turned her back on her original alliance and chose American Pie.

During the most heated, dramatic final Tribal Council in Weird Al Survivor history, weirdallie27 blasted DrSteggy for backstabbing her. DrSteggy called it all part of the game and had no regrets. But ultimately, Allie's words appeared to have an effect on the jury, as American Pie became the Sole Survivor of Season 3.

So, how will DrSteggy's actions in season 3 affect her gameplay in All Stars? Will she be able to gain the trust of her tribemates neccessary for forming alliances? Or will the All Stars be reluctant to allign with her, knowing that she is capable of turning on her alliances at the last moment? Will her ability as a strong strategist come back to help her or haunt her? And will Survivors sympathetic to weirdallie27 want DrSteggy out or will they be able to look past her actions and recognize that it's part of the game? Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins!

SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE #5

Remember, to look for the hidden clues as to the Survivor's Tribe. ;)
And now, our Survivor All Star Profile #5:

Image

gtrmu - During Weird Al Survivor's most dramatically-charged season, he was the one guy behind much of the drama. During the very first challenge, a fight broke out between gtrmu and ccsyaoran, a second chance player who got burned in Season 2. Despite the feud within the tribe, the Hibachi Dealers managed to win. But later in the game, the feud between ccsyaoran and gtrmu resurfaced.

After a shocking twist in which the formerly merged Accordion tribe separated again into two new tribes, a rumor broke out that gtrmu was attempting to bribe people to vote out ccsyaoran. The host and forum moderator was quick to warn the players that bribing is strictly against the rules and anyone who broke those rules would be eliminated. But that didn't stop gtrmu from making strong comments against the team which had banned together to vote him out, iisryan27 and ccsyaoran.

gtrmu's power in the game did not end when he got voted out. His pointed comments about iisryan and ccsyaoran continued to influence the jury. And when it came time for the final tribal council, iisryan paid the price. After being the favorite to win for almost the entire game, iisryan lost almost unanimously.

So, how will gtrmu's temper and emotion affect his game play the second time around? Will long-time players stand for his emotional reactions to things? Will he be able to form alliances? Or will he be able to adapt his strategy and potentially fly under the radar? And with DrSteggy in the game, will gtrmu seek to avenge his friend, weirdallie27? SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE #6

Remember, to look for the hidden clues as to the Survivor's Tribe. ;)
And now, our Survivor All Star Profile #6:

Image

weirdallie27 - When it comes to winning challenges, she is unarguably the best player of the entire series. It started with an alliance with DrSteggy at the very beginning of the game. The two power-players of the season were quick to form an alliance within the Petroleum Joes. The alliance brought both of them to the end of the game.

For the first part of the game, weirdallie27 was a critical member of her tribe, leading them to victory in three out of four Immunity Challenges. It was clear from the start that this was a close-knit tribe that had very open alliances and trusting partnerships. After the merge, weirdallie continued to dominate the Immunity Challenges, winning nearly ALL of the Individual Immunity Challenges. Allison has won more Immunity Challenges than any player in the history of Weird Al Survivor.

But when it got to the final three, everything fell apart for Allison. Her one time partner and ally, DrSteggy won the final Immunity Challenge, and in a shocking tribal council voted out weirdallie27 and took American Pie to the final two. Allison took the betrayal very harshly and didn't let it go unpunished. At the final tribal council, the sparks flew as Allison unyieldingly attacked DrSteggy for her betrayal. Ultimately, weirdallie27's words at tribal council had a profound impact on the jury, as American Pie won the title of Sole Survivor.

So, how will all of this drama play into All Stars? Will Allie and Jackie remain rivals or will they manage to form an alliance nobody would suspect? Will Allie be able to form a new strategy to hide the target on her back, or will her grudge cloud her judgement and prevent her from winning? Will she get her revenge or will she be duped again? Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins!

SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE #7

Remember, to look for the hidden clues as to the Survivor's Tribe. ;)
And now, our Survivor All Star Profile #7:

Image

Driew_La_27 - As ringleader of the Hamster Tribe alliance, Driew controlled the events within his tribe. Despite his over-zealous bragging and trash-talking, noone doubted Driew's chances of winning the game. But two critical mistakes led to Driew's demise in the game of Survivor.

First, Driew allienated spacedingo, unarguably the strongest player in terms of sheer knowledge about Al. He cast him out of his four-person alliance, and made it very clear about his intentions to vote him out once they hit the merge. Meanwhile, anthontherun, the clear leader of the Poodle Tribe, used this division in the Hamster Tribe to his advantage.

Driew and anth immediately formed an alliance after the merge. Driew's second critical error was trusting anthontherun. After spacedingo won the first Individual Immunity Challenge, the former Poodles set their sights on Driew. He became the first person voted out after the merge and the victim of anth's infamous "shock value" vote. Of course, he didn't let a little formality like being voted out keep him away from the game. Driew consistently showed up at all the Immunity Challenges even after he was booted!

So, has Driew learned anything from his first time in Survivor? Will be less willing to trust power-players like anthontherun? Will his tendency to talk too much get him in trouble again or will people underestimate his abilities? When put on a tribe with former rival anth, will he work with him or against him? Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins!

SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE #8

Remember, to look for the hidden clues as to the Survivor's Tribe. ;)
And now, our Survivor All Star Profile #8:

Image

iisryan27 - As a newbie to the forum, Ryan had little hope in the Hamster tribe. But despite his disadvantage against strong players like Driew_La_27, spacedingo, Kevbo1987, and anthontherun, he managed to form a solid alliance with some of the Hamsters. But the alliance was not to last for long. After eliminating SmileyGirl87, the Hamster alliance, led by Driew_La_27, turned on their own alliance member and voted out iisryan27. His game was over, at least for season one!

During our "Second Chance" Survivor Season, in which players who already played the game and didn't make it to the merge were pitted against brand new players, it was clear that Ryan was playing a whole new game. He formed powerful alliances that carried him through most of the season. He was a force to be reckoned with at the challenges. And he proved that he definately deserved a place in All Stars!

Not only was did he control much of what happened in the season, but he was extremely flexible, a quality which helped him go to the final two. When the hosts pulled out the biggest twist in Weird Al Survivor history and separated the tribes AFTER THE MERGE, iisryan27 quickly used his alliance with ccsyaoran to control BOTH tribes and personally select who was to be eliminated from each tribe (i_love_yankovic and gtrmu). He was clearly everyone's favorite to win, and at least this host thought he was a shoe-in, but in a shocking tribal council, iisryan27 lost the game to Fintron, almost unanimously.

So, what will be the reaction of the other Survivors, knowing that iisryan is back in the game? Will they respect his gameplay in Season 4 and welcome him into All Stars, or will they be quick to vote him out under the rationale that he already had TWO chances to play? Will he be valued in his tribe or shunned? And with a third chance, will he finally win the grand prize? Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins! :Y

SURVIVOR ALL STAR PROFILE #9 AND #10

And now, our Survivor All Star Profile #9 and #10:

Image

Bruce the Duck - An avid fan of both Al and the pioneer reality show, "Survivor," BTD decided it might be fun to combine the two on the forums of WOWAY. Little did he suspect that it would become the most popular game and one of the most popular series of threads on the entire forum. The game, "Weird Al Survivor" has spawned FOUR other editions in addition to the first one, has earned its very own website, and has also inspired other "reality show"-based games, such as "The Alprentice," set to premiere sometime after "Weird Al Survivor All Stars."

In the first season, Bruce created the challenges, hosted both the challenges and tribal councils, and coordinated all aspects of the game. The only thing he had help with were the wonderful graphics provided by scottidog. BTD adopted the smarmy, cocky attitude of "Survivor" host, Jeff Probst, and copied his mood and style almost perfectly. The game stuck stricktly to the rules of "Survivor," despite BTD's secret desire to throw in all kinds of wacky twists. But his devilish, sneaky mind would get some excersize when he became a contestant in the second series, hosted by sarley27 and anthontherun.

BTD, along with veteran Al fans, Elvis and Dr_Dad were immediate targets in the second season. Everyone wanted them out. But BTD's ability to create and simultaneously sabotage alliances, helped him to defy all odds and make it to the end. On his path to the final two, BTD betrayed everyone, especially Dr_Dad, who he blindsided with several secret, separate alliances. But out of his false alliance with Dr_Dad, grew a partnership that would grow into Survivor 5. Dr_Dad went on to host Season 3, while BTD would host All Stars, with Dr_Dad as his assistant. Even while he was manuevering his way through Season 2, Bruce had plotted a wicked set of twists to shake up All Stars.

So, will BTD deliver in Season 5? Will the twists be as shocking as he promises? What types of twists will there be? Tribal shuffles? Outcasts? Double immunities? Re-merged tribes? More than two tribes? How will BTD's sick, twisted machinations affect the game play of the contestants? Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins! :Y

Dr_Dad - As one of the most knowledgable and respected members on the forum, Dr_Dad doesn't post in sentences or paragraphs. Rather, we get a short thesis each time he logs on. During the first season of "Weird Al Survivor," Dr_Dad played close attention to the game and as a huge fan of the reality show, "Survivor," he really liked what he was seeing. He was a judge on one of the challenges and offered his knowledge for use in Survivor challenges. But he really showed his devotion to the game when he stepped onto the island during Season 2.

As a contestant in the game, Dr_Dad knew he was a target. He made it an immediate goal to form a solid alliance with Bruce the Duck. Working together, the power duo plowed over their other tribemates. When it came time for the merge, Dr_Dad spoke enthusiastically about forming a three-way alliance with Elvis and BTD. He spoke of a "Battle Royale" at the end of the game. But his alliance partners had different ideas. Elvis didn't trust BTD as far as he could throw him and worked behind Dr_Dad's back to eliminate BTD. However, Bruce had formed an alliance with Elvis' former tribe mates and successfully plotted to eliminate Elvis and then Dr_Dad.

During the third season, Dr_Dad introduced a lot of brand new elements to the game as he stepped into the role of host. He introduced brand new snazzy graphics for Tribal Councils. He created intricate, extremely difficult challenges, most notably "AL-Gebra" and "Greatest Hits (Dr_Dad's version of the medley challenge, which featured an insane web of puzzles and brainbusters. While the majority of the Season 3 cast was considered by most fans to be mediocre, noone can deny the wonderful job Dr_Dad did hosting.

Now, as All Stars looms over us all, Dr_Dad will take on the role of Mark Burnett, but rather than being Jeff Probst's boss, Doc will be more of the "assistant." So, what new elements will Dr_Dad help introduce in season 5? How will he help make BTD's already difficult challenges even harder? How many hairs will you pull out of your head when you attempt to complete his immensely challenging "Greatest Hits?" Will he actually reply to BTD's PMs and help with the season? :F Find out on January 5, 2005, when "Weird Al Survivor All Stars" begins! :Y
