Some important information for the Survivors:

The first post in this thread will be an updated historical record of Challenges, who was voted off, and possible notes of interest as far as scheduling is concerned ... please check this first post on a regular basis.

At exactly 7:00 PM Eastern Time (6:00 Central Time, 5:00 Mountain Time, 4:00 Pacific Time, other various times across the world), you will see your very first Tree Mail post. This post will provide you clues to your first challenge, which will be posted soon after that, at 7:15 PM Eastern Time (please do your own math, based on the examples I provided above). Use the time between now and then to become familiar with your surroundings and your fellow competitors.

All Chit Chat goes in the Chit Chat thread, and does not belong in the Game Play thread. The only types of posts that should be in the Game Play thread are announcements, actual challenges, actual game play, questions about the challenges, tribal councils and results.

Challenge Number One (Word Find!)

Welcome Survivors, to your very first challenge!

Hidden in the puzzle below are the names of 27 different people who have appeared in some capacity in a "Weird Al" music video. Your task is to locate all twenty seven of the names. The names can be forward, backward, up and down, across from left to right, or diagonal. The names will appear in the following format ...

First Initial followed by the Last Name. So, if the name is Alfred Yankovic, the name would appear as AYANKOVIC in the puzzle.

Once you have found all 27 names, you will arrange those names in alphabetical order (based on the first initial, followed by the first letter in the last name, etc) and send a Personal Message to Akrovak with all 27 names listed as they appear in the puzzle.

One small twist, of course ... you don't have a list of the 27 names.

This is a race ... meaning that the first person who sends me their Personal Message with all 27 names in the correct format will automatically win Immunity. However, every player will have until Monday at 7:00 PM Eastern Time to send me their Personal Message.

At 7:30 PM Eastern Time on Monday, I will announce the person who won immunity, and Tribal Council will be held, where the remaining 15 Survivors are eligible to voted off. You will not know if the person you are voting for is destined for your tribe or not ... as the tribes will be revealed AFTER the votes are cast (as well as the way in which I came to those tribes, based on the performance in this challenge).

I know three days is a LONG time for this challenge. However, I also know I gave a somewhat short notice for the starting date of the game and that a few people will not be here this weekend (not to mention the forum problems). Use the time wisely.

Survivors ..... GOOOOOOOOO!

So, as far as alphebetising goes, in you eye, someone who's first initial was A but last name began with R would go before someone's who's first name is R but last name is A? Just want to be sure we put these in the appropriate order.

That is correct ... AYANKOVIC would come well before CGIBSON (just making up names to illustrate the point).

I was just informed that I misspelled one of the names. That is completely my fault.

When making your lists, as I said, make sure you list them the way they are presented in the puzzle (even if I'm an idiot and misspelled them).

Since I know this one is messed up, I'll give it to everyone as a "freebie" (except for the person who pointed it out to me) ... Emo Philips (I have two L's in the puzzle, and that is the way it should appear in your list ... EPHILLIPS).

Out of curiosity, is it strictly in the context of a music video, or are you also using those who have appeared in UHF, outside of the scope of the UHF music video?
