My mom was watching Ellen today and they were showing clips from the Grammys. They showed a clip of Al and Suzanne. They were waving frantically at the camera and Al had a bag of Beef Jerky in his hands... woah!

Don't these awards shows dump all kinds of swag on celebrities? Maybe somebody was passing out beef jerky and Al didn't feel like going all "I'm a vegan! Get this horrible stuff out of my presence!" on them.

IIRC, it was Ellen's staff who was passing out the jerky to people on the red carpet who would stop and talk into the Ellen cardboard cutout.
