I have written some parody things in the past. In HS, my drama class wrote a musical version of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar by parodying many songs with the play's plot. I wrote a parody of "It's the End of the World" called "On Her Doorstep He Hurled" (it was about a very nervous guy on a first date - I lost the lyrics when I switched computers a few years ago). I also recently started writing a parody of Bowling for Soup's "Ohio (Come Back to Texas)" called "Go Back to Texas." If I ever finish it, I will gladly share it. Subject of the song? Well, let's just say you would be able to figure out my political slant just by reading the tiltle.

Okay, I redid Pet. Since my server's down, I guess I'll have to post a link to my soundclick page.

http://www.soundclick.com/apfelbits

Also, I'll be redoing all my other songs and adding another one once Mad Genius is done rendering the midi's I sent him.

Is it better or worse? I need your feedback!

Sounds funny, shakespeare234!

Hey, Liam, nice work. I think your timing is a little better, now time for a little constructive criticism: When recording vocals, it's best if you don't apply too much echoes, reverbs and or flangers. Keep the effects at a bare minimal. I know you're still getting familiar with Adobe Audition, but keep that in mind the next time you record something; then your recordings will sound more professional. Overall, I give the new "Pet" a 7 out of 10.

OPEN 26 HOURS news

remember last time i posted news, my brother was going to ask his friend if he could record us? Well, he said no <_< but my dad said that i should call around to see what i need for my computer to record things, (microphones, programs ect...) and he said he would pay for it! And also after we get a demo, my dad has a friend that wants to listen to it and maybe get us a gig at a fair or something, so to the recorders on WOWAY, what would you suggest for microphones, programs ect...?

Cool Edit 2.0 if you don't have it. If you record on a mic (Which I have a Labtec desk mic) then I record on Windows Sound Recorder, then you need to have a WAV to MP3 converter.
