I've done a bunch of parodies, but my best one is "Open Wounds", a parody of "Open Arms" by Journey...

As a recording artist myself(or at least TRYING to be... :D ) I have hundreds of song ideas, most of them written out. (My album hasn't even been recorded, but it does include a Weird Al parody! )

One is of my parodies is:

"Taking Out The Garbage" a parody of "Cleaning Out My Closet" by Eminem.

Another is:

"Fries Another Day" a parody of "Die Another Day" by Madonna.

"We're Not Far" a parody of "Midnight Star" by "Weird Al" Yankovic.

"Jumping Off A Cliff" a parody of "Bouncin' Off The Walls" by Sugar Cult.

"Running" a parody of "Breathing" by Lifehouse.

<Note> All of these songs are copyrighted. <Note>

Expect some of these on my album!

For the lyrics for one of these songs, Send me a message! 8)

I have been playing around with an idea to parody The Saga Begins as a tribute to The Great Weird One. Nothing written down yet. Maybe someday...

I parodied "Callin' In Sick."

I highly recommend parodying a Weird Al song... as a spiritual exercise. I'm a much more humble person now than I used to be. :lookround:

I worte some parodies and funny songs once, but then my computer fried and I lost everything. My friend and I once sang, "The Cat in the Hat" to Papa Roach's "Last Resort"...we didn't get far, but it sounded good. That was inspired by Al's "Green Eggs and Ham" and various Green Jelly songs.

We wanna do more Dr. Suess to modern-day music.

I WAS gonna do a cover of Since You've Been Gone on the Me Myself and I tribute album, but... dang, I RAN OUT OF TIME!!!!!!....

I also am writing more parodies for my album I wasn't gonna share but the first one I'll give away is The money, parody Of Limp Bizkit- Nookie

I did it all for the money (c'mon)

the money (c'mon) and if you think it's funny, my guards will kick yo' (yeah!) boss'll kick yo' (yeah!) girls'll kick yo' (yeah!) hamster kick yo' (yeah!)

sounds stupid, but it's good. I've also done under pressure parodies... I had to do a parody of Dirrty by Christina Aguilera about an electrician in 2 minutes... sounded pretty good actually. I turned down doing Eye of The Tiger and about a nuclear physicist.... I don't think I remember what that is... :sleepy: :(

I've thought long and hard about this (as an artist myself) and I've decided that, since I'm not recording anytime soon, I'll let you guys know what parodies I've written.

"Hostess Cucakes" - a parody of "Rockin Robin"

"Medusa" - a parody of "manana"(spanish for tomorrow) an old Spanish folk song that nobody on here's probably ever heard of.

"Paranoid People" - a parody of "Cherokee People"

"Ice Cream Man - a parody of "nter Sandman"(don't ask how I came up with that one. I"m stil not sure myself)

"(Oh, I want to eat) some candy - a parody of "OH, I want to Dance) with Somebody"

"Thankyou"a parody of (ironicaly enough) "Thankyou"

"Livin La Vida Ricky" A parody of Livin La Vida Loca (BAsicaly a hybrid between ABS and MBILWEV. Only it's about Ricky Martin who some of you may have heard of...

"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" - a parody of "Macarther Park"

"NASCAR" A parody of "Tax Man"

"Smells Like Mcdonalds" A parody of Smells Like Teen Spirit (I've since decided to shelve this one

crap...I know I've written more, I just don't feel like looking for them right now...
