Shame... I'd like to hear a parody of "Not Afraid". Especially if it was about Al not being afraid to spoof Eminem after "Couch Potato". :-P

Well, yeah. I do realize that. I was just thinking in terms of longevity. Who knows if she'll still be as ubiquitous in five years. Whereas, Eminem is still a name to contend with even with having no new material in years. But then, pop musically speaking, I live under a rock so what do I know?

This made me laugh out loud.

Bobbi, I definitely think Lady Gaga is at a point in her career - 7 or 8 #1 singles in two years? - where we can say for sure she's around to stay. At least as significant as Eminem, time will tell if she grows beyond that level. I did not realize this until a few months ago either, so don't feel bad about it.

It's not just her #1 singles. It's also her whole image. She's different. People like it when something new and exciting comes along. She wears outlandish outfits and her videos are just freakishly weird, unlike anything else out there right now. Believe me, in a few years we're going to have artists trying to copy her image.
