I remember we had a similar discussion when Straight Outta Lynwood was first coming out, and thought why not do it again. How are people planning on listening to the new CD for the first time when they get it? I'm debating whether or not to just listen straight through, or skipping to the tracks I've already heard and just going to the new stuff.

I will listen to it straight through, while i listen to it i will look and read the whole inner booklet and just enjoy the new Al goodness.

Pardon my ignorance, but wouldn't you just buy the CD and listen to it? What is the point of this discussion?

I'll listen to it straight through. But because I'll only get 1 first time, I'll have to set aside a time with no interruptions. After I've listened to it I'll watch the videos next.

Gonna listen to it all the way through the first time and maybe more... I like to familiarize myself with the way each track transitions into the next. The ordering on each album is always kinda fun to listen to for me.

I can't WAIT for the DVD stuff though. Though I'll probably pop the CD in the car when I grab a copy from the store (I plan on walking in and buying; no preordering for me), I'll definitely be excited to watch all the videos and whatnot when I get home.

I'll listen all the way through first. The previously heard songs will give me time to savor the new songs, and will build anticipation to the new stuff. Then, I'll listen to just the new songs a second time. Then, I'll look through the booklet. Finally, I'll watch the DVD.

For the record, I prefer the Reece's analogy better.
