You're not the only who thought that. I remember seeing a post on the imdb.com message board by someone who thought the same thing. "Shaw" and "Chong" do sound pretty similar.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

 That's a new one on me! That's pretty funny. I don't think Tommy Shaw has ever been in jail, has he?
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I always heard Tommy Shaw too! I never actually thought Al meant the guy from Styx, I just assumed there was someone else with that name that I didn't know, but it always cracked me up anyway. Chong... not as funny anymore. Oh well. Still a great song and I agree about the little interjections.

"You can just ask him!"

But Tommy Chong really did go to jail. How can that be not as funny? It wasn't for downloading music, though, it was for drug possession. Anyway, the best part about that is when he says "Remember Tommy!"

Nope. I checked Wikipedia and I'm like "well Al is stretching it here."
<--That's Al going up the escalator.

Now tell me who's this Paul

I SERIOUSLY want to perform that song in a choir. The harmonies are amazing.

I just listened to this song again and realized how great it is. Everything is great, from the vocals (This is the one of those songs that showcases how well Al can sing) to the writing (Hilarous satire).
I bought some batteries but they weren't included, so I bought them again.

I thought this would be the perfect concert encore song on the SOL tour. (Not that I don't LOVE Albuquerque!) I could just see the crowd swaying and singing in unison...sigh... (Next I'll be visualizing world peace.) But, I love DDTS!
Hoping the Al goodness never ends...

I can't believe I never realized it before, but yes! DDTS would be a great encore song! Still, I don't know if I would want to see Albequerque replaced.

I think that if any originals needed to open an album, it's this one. It should have been the first song, not the last song. And it's one of the few songs that's better than it's music video.
