This always seems to be the most loathed song on Poodle Hat, but idk (I decay) why that is as I rather enjoy its humor and usage of the Bo Diddley beat. Surely I am not the only one (in before "don't call me Shirley")?

Well, for me, I kind of enjoy the puns, until it gets to the "head for a dip" bit and then I'm just grossed out. It's kind of a shame, because the music is great.

It's one of those songs I really have to be in the mood for. The lyrics don't bother me but the beat gets sort of tiresome.

I always really enjoyed this song because I became a fan before Poodle Hat was released and when it first started being recorded, Al had a show at the Orange County Fair and someone leaked this song online, so it was the first new Al song I ever got to hear.

Wait, has he ever played this song live? I missed the Poodle Hat tour. I also don't know whether or not he has played "Trash Day" live.

I guess the only Poodle Hat songs he hasn't played live are Genius in France and Hardware Store, for reasons that have already been stated.

In fact, the costumes that Al and the band wore on stage for Trash Day were actually donated by Nelly as he was a fan of the parody. The outfits were from Nelly's Vokal line.
