I did!

It just showed clips form Al's older videos, and had a voiceover. It said "He was a Fat guy, an Amish guy, a Jedi, and he never forgot it was Aall About the Pentiums" or something like that. and then it said his new album was called Poodle Hat, and said the price. It wasn't real creative, no, but it got the point across.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Wow, I wonder why on earth they would quote a specific price. I don't think I've come across two stores that have sold any given CD for the same price.

Besides, wouldn't they have been worried that "Poodle Hat's" suggested retail price of $18.98 would scare some buyers away?

Well, they quoted a specific price because this was a tv ad, and you would send away for the cd through the mail. It was advertised for $18.99, IIRC.

CD, if am remebering right, the ads were for some mail order thing. I'll have to dig out my ALTV tape and see if I can catch it.
