new song proof

Post by sarley27 »

From my emails from Bermuda:

"and Party At The Leper Colony is on the new

album,

but I have no idea what the other song is ! No recordings have been

released

anyway, nobody could have heard anything from the album at this point."

The other song is sixteen red balloons. So.... yeah. :onfire:

It's great to hear "Party at.." is on there. And sorry if I'm being a bit daft, but what's "sixteen red baloons"?

That's great about "Party"!

I'll be daft too: What is "Sixteen Red Balloons"? The title reminds me of the U.S. version of that 80s song, "99 Red Balloons"/"99 Luft Balloons."

16 red balloons is a supposed al song floating around the internet, and I got it from Bermuda's public email, because I'm trading Al merch with him. Party at the Leper Colony is great too, so we know that at least ONE good Al song is there. Yeah. :onfire: :stupid: Yeah, from what I've heard of 16 red balloons, it's an original that starts like a punk rock song going, "Sixteen red balloons are floating..." then it stops and the singer says "Wait a minute! Why can't their be GREEN balloons????" Very stupid sounding.

Aw man... I'm not sure if I was supposed to say that now. Bermuda, you told me, if I wasn't supposed to... SORRY! SORRY BERMUDA! SORRY AL! SORRY MYSELF FOR HAVING TO WATCH LIZZIE McGUIRE WITH MY SISTER AGAIN... Uh, sorry...

Hey they were talking about Weird Al on LizzieMcGuire once. I walked in the room, and the one kid... Matt I think... had a RWS poster and he wanted to hang it in her room but she said Al was stupid. I wanted to spit on her. I'm gonna tape that next wed. the 30th when its on again.
Work, is play. Tofutti break today.

Color me skeptical...

Not that P@TLC isn't going to be on the AL-bum, I have always thought that it would, but Bermuda giving out info like that? Like I said, color me skeptical.

The song has already been widely publicized (ain't the Internet grand!?) so I didn't think it was a big secret that as a full-length original, it was likely to be on the new album (since the "concert only" stuff is always parodies, and usually just a portion of a song, this one seemed painfully obvious as an album candidate.)

There are many more real secrets, and some cool surprises - one in particular, something seemingly very unlikely to have happened - so stay tuned for the album itself!

Needless to say I'm totally psyched about this album--and look:
