Well, I admire your motive but why don't we use this thread to discuss how Al has impacted Kurt and vice versa.

Well, it is a bit off-topic, but what can you say, I think there's been enough going on at WOWAY to justify it a little. But actually, we should keep it open and maybe make it a SLN topic, with some Cobain discussion, if that's alright with the mods.

"Is it going to be a song about food?"

Obviously, this thread will be meaningless to most of the older members on the board, but for a lot of the younger fans, Kurt was more than a rock star to us.

Anyway, in the end, it's up to the mods, but I say we keep it, at least for a while.

"no... its going to be about how no one can understand your lyrics!"

[MOD Edit: Edited. The rest of the post was off topic]

Hehe....that one quote of Krist Novoselic's was funny.... "Man, that 'Weird Al's' gonna get us!.....But we saw the video, and it was really funny."

I wasn't going to respond to that, but Allie's post says what I would have if I decided to.

Do you all think Al made the right decision in keeping SLN part of the setlist? I'm glad he did. I'm sure it wouldn't feel right a few days after it happened back in '94, but now, it definitely belongs as a tribute.

I'm not going to say that I'm 100% positive he was murdered. But after reading most of this site, I can't say that I think it was suicide.

For the shows around the time it happened, he dedicated SLN to the memory of Kurt Cobain.

I'm confused. This topic was locked, now it's unlocked again and some posts are missing.

What's going on? I apologize that we're off-topic, but I don't see why this thread has to be closed immediately.

You can talk about Kurt's relationship with Al and vice versa, but the rest was off topic, so I split it out.
