Living With A Hernia - Funny song, but the video makes it infinitely better. 7/10

Dog Eat Dog - I'd rank this as the funniest Al original outside of Dare to Be Stupid. The "Not by beautiful stapler" part gets referenced a lot at my job. 10/10

Addicted to Spuds - I dig it, overall. Rank it in the middle. 5/10

One of Those Days - Upbeat, fantastic song. 8/10

Polka Party - I'd have to re-listen to this. My least favorite medley. 3/10

Here's Johnny - I didn't like this one much at all. 3/10

Don't Wear Those Shoes - Quirky. Dig it a lot. 7/10

Toothless People - Hate it. I'd rank this as probably my least favorite Al song that's not Syndicated, Inc. 1/10

Good Enough for Now - LOVE it. 9/10

Christmas at Ground Zero - I made a Christmas mix cd a couple years ago. This starts the cd off, and it ends with The Night Santa Went Crazy. 10/10

Honestly, Polka Party is worth listening to primarily for the originals only. The parodies didn't do much for me.

I agree that Polka Party pretty much exists for the sake of its originals.

Is Polka Party! the only Al album to be budget priced?

All the 80s ones seem to be reduced at Amazon. I've seen both GH volumes in Walmart for $5.

OK, and that also appears to include The Food Album and The TV Album, which I'm fairly surprised to see are still even in print.

Yeah that is surprising. Rocked this album twice this week including today and it always gets to me how totally underrated this wicked album is. Just love the whole thing inside and out, wish they still did Dog Eat Dog live.

Living With A Hernia: 9/10 Really funny song
Dog Eat Dog: 7/10 catchy but not a particularity funny song
Addicted to Spuds: 5/10 I find this song to be pretty dull and not very funny. It's a pretty weak premise
One of Those Days: 6/10 The definition of average Al songs. It's a bit funny and kind of catchy. Meh
Polka Party: 6.5/10 None of the song used are very memorable except for 2 or 3 of em and it feels like this song was just rushed. Al doesn't seem to do much with them, the Harlem polka was probably the best part. Worst polka
Here's Johnny: 7/10 Good song but there's not much to it besides "Here's Johnny"
Don't Wear Those Shoes: 7.5/10 Pretty funny and upbeat song, I feel it's bit underrated. Also I love the guitars in this one.
Toothless People: 5/10 This one just doesn't work, it's also a really weak premise.
Good Enough for Now: 6/10 I'ts pretty good but it kinda falls flat for me
Christmas at Ground Zero: 8/10 Great funny (in concept) song but not as good as The Night Santa went Crazy

This whole album just feels so rushed and all the parody's just feel uninspired compared the the quality of other Weird Al albums.
By far my least favorite album

1. Dog Eat Dog. I have to laugh at it every time. It really stands the test of time.
2.One of Those Days. One of Al's classic 'crazy' songs.
3.Don't Wear Those Shoes. I know many probably consider it average, but I still get a kick out of Al pleading over some seemingly trivial issue over the course of the whole song.
4.Polka Party. Probably somewhere in the middle of the Polka pack, but it's the only song Al made that includes a Phil Collins lyric, and as a big Phil fan,I was always glad to see Phil made it to an Al Polka!
5.Here's Johnny. I like this one more than most. Maybe because my name is Johnnie?
6.Addicted to Spuds. Another I like a lot, but kinda gets forgotten.
7.Good Enough for Now. Arguably the funniest song on the Album. I probably don't play it as often not being much of a 'Western' fan.
8. Living With A Hernia. Good parody. Gets a bit too medical for my taste.
9.Christmas at Ground Zero. Never been overly fond of marrying the concept of Christmas with killing. But at least I prefer this one to TNSWC.
10. Toothless People. Probably skip this one 95% of the time.

Living With A Hernia
Very educational song! Very catchy! I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Dog Eat Dog
Fun song about office life. I can kind of relate. 4 out of 5 stars.

Addicted To Spuds
Addicted To Spuds is easily the best song off of Polka Party!, a relatively weak album. Although Christmas At Ground Zero is awesome, I still think ATS takes the cake. It makes me hungry every time I listen to it. 5 out of 5 stars

One of Those Days
This is an all right song. It doesn't excite me terribly. I have nothing against it. I give it a 3 out of 5.

Polka Party
Another polka, another 3 out of 5 rating. Nothing more to say!

Here's Johnny
I like Short Circuit, I like Who's Johnny, so I like this song as well. I give it a 4 out of 5.

Don't Wear Those Shoes
I don't really care for this song. I think it's kind of pointless. So, uh, yeah. 2 out of 5.

Toothless People
I'm not one to be negative, but I have to say this: Toothless People is the worst Weird Al song there is. When I first heard this song, I thought it was a bad original. The topic of the song is completely boring and uninteresting. I couldn't imagine what Weird Al was thinking. Later, I discovered that this song was NOT an original, and in fact a parody of "Ruthless People" by Mick Jagger, a song I had never heard. I coudn't imagine how bad the original must be. Since then, I had a desire to hear "Ruthless People". I was able to get the "Ruthless People" soundtrack from Amazon for cheap. Let me tell you, Mick's song is no better, and in fact may be worse. Well, that's about all I have to say about Toothless People. What made Al think that fans would be interested in a song about tooth-deficient people is beyond me. I'm just glad that out of all the songs he has recorded, this is the only one I loathe. 1 out of 5 stars.

Good Enough For Now
I agree that this song is very underrated. I discovered this song late because I only had Permanent Record for many years. I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard this song. Al should do a little more country. Great song. 4 out of 5 stars.

Christmas At Ground Zero
Al's dark humor is great in this song. It reminds me a lot of Happy Birthday. I love the juxtaposition. Perfect to surprise unsuspecting Christmas guests with your twisted sense of humor. 4 out of 5 stars.

Overall, Polka Party! receives a 3.4 star rating.
