No, but also very cool. I'll try to take a pic of my screen while watching the video and show you. I've been looking, too, but I can't think of a proper way to describe this!

While human bowling appears to be an immensely entertaining prospect, that's not quite it either. The things in the video don't encompass the person from all directions like a sphere; they pretty much consist of two parallel tori, joined by little metal bars, which circumscribe a fully erect person from only the second-dimensional 360 degrees (the tori do the circumscribing, that is, not the bars). And they don't exactly roll either; the behave in the manner of a coin that had been rolling on its edge but is now losing momentum, causing it to move in circles at an acute angle to the ground.

I've pretty much exhausted my entire geometric descriptive vocabulary there; I don't think I can go into further detail.

Very good description, Sporkman. So, if you were to try and find some images online of such a thing, what would you call it?

Patti

this is really starting to bother me!

That's an excellent way of putting it sporkman. Now I know what I'm looking for but I'm with Patti, what would you call something like that?

Human Hamster Wheel? No.

Exercise Wheel? No.

I found a website for the MovieTone NewReels, but I can't figure out how to search it.

So, I'm fresh out of ideas too.

Not to be confused with the One-Ton Human Hamster Wheel from "Double Dare."
