And I heard it for the first time! Go figure! Happy anniversary to My Bologna, and to me! Yay! The first Al song I ever heard!

What I like about this song is that it the only instrument, besides drums, is the accordion. I miss those types of songs. ;(

I love My Bologna. It was actually one of the first songs I learned how to play on the accordion. You can hear a cover of the Original Bathroom Version that I did back in 2002 by clicking Here. Al and Bermuda has heard it. Bermuda said he thought it was Al singing a long lost version! It's pretty good.
Just another tribute I plan on releasing at my Weird Al Wannabe site.

My Bologna was cool and accordion like. lol. Well, I like the lyrics to it and the accordion playuing it gives it a little Weird Al, duh.

Just out of curiosity, is the My Bologna Al does in concert more like the original bathroom recording (like he did with AORTB) or the faster debut album one?

He did My Bologna for the Poodle Hat tour....so did you go to one? If not, then no, he did the one more like the album version on this song.

I believe the concert version is faster (like on the CD)

Everything seems faster in concert.

I like the song. It shows that even by himself, Al had tons of talent.
