So apparently the Ratatouille movie Soundtrack had a remix of Taco Grande on it! I never heard about it until I saw a clip over in the Media Section under Altube of Al picking up a copy of the album...

I just downloaded it and it sounds pretty neat...it sounds a bit different than al's (maybe because Disney made it...) but it is still worth checking out!

What's next though?!? A White and Nerdy Remix by Disney?!?!?!?
The name is John, but you can call me JD! ^~^

I have to say, this cover makes me sick. The entire album does. It doesn't have anything to do with the movie. And their version of TG doesn't do anything for the song.

I was thinking that the song actually sounded a little "kiddy"...

It was funny though because in the video clip where Al mentioned this, he also said something along the lines of "Apparently they redid my song...and I just found out...maybe I'm too expensive for them to just use the song that's ALREADY RECORDED."

The original is definitely much better, but I still thought it would be interesting to check it out. (sorry if anyone wasted their .$99!!!)

Do you really think so? Most songwriters like having their stuff performed by other musicians, as long as it's done well and the royalty/performance rights angle is handled properly.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
