I'm still trying to find details on this Office album; I haven't heard anything about it outside of this topic.
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

I'm kinda wondering myself what's going on with this album. There's not even a vague "this title will come out at some point in our lifetimes" page on Amazon, so it doesn't seem as if it's even been officially announced at this point.
I hope it gets finished and doesn't just fall into some weird "this is too ridiculous even for a licensed product" limbo.

What's with all this The Office diss? It's one of the best shows on television! I'm suprised not everyone's embracing this! It seems like a masterpiece for both Al and The Office.
Yeah, I tried to find any info about this project when Al first mentoned it. I couldn't even find any mentions from OfficeTally (the dedicated fan blog).
Yes, I could see how NBC Universal would find it as an odd product to market. The show is difficult to market: since the show seems to be a reality show, how do you market things from real life. I mean, its like a paradox that there is a computer game, DVD game, and a board game selling based off "real life" events.
An interseting way is to sell it as "Dunder-Mifflin Paper Co. Songs Of Paper," in a way to sell it as Office related but not to much like a TV show. That's how I'd like it to be.
I'm sorry. I've rambled on so much that I sound like Michael in a talking head interview.
