Closest to Arkansas that Al has been for awhile. Interesting to see the switch between Stafford and Texarkana. Guess that Al-Charlie Daniels combo isn't going to be a permanent thing.

The Mothership now has October 17 as a date in Texarkana. If that's true, back to no Al concert for me :(

Hm... well, that's kinda weird, but it'll be a lot closer to me if this is the case. I might make another concert before Tulsa after all!

I've been a big Weird Al fan since 1983, but this will be my first time to see him live! I can't wait! I'm hopeful for an autograph or picture opportunity (I'd prefer a picture, personally).

Question. I ordered my tickets in August, but have not received them yet. I purchased them through the Weird Al website, not the venue. The site shows the status as approved. When should I expect the tickets? Our mail carrier is horrible, loses half our mail, destroys the other half, etc. I'm really worried that if they are shipped much closer to the show date, we won't get them. What happens if they get lost in the mail?

Heath, you'll have a great time. Just look for the bus after the show, and Al usually signs. Since it's a theatre show, it will probably be a good possibility. He also usually does 1 picture and 1 autograph for each person.

As for the tickets, they usually come around 2 weeks before the show. I wouldn't be worried until around October 10, if they haven't arrived. If they don't arrive by then, you should try to contact PAID's customer service, and they'll be able to set up your tickets for will call at the venue.

I've met a handful of famous people before. The entire cast of The Dukes Of Hazzard (including my first love, Daisy (Catherine Bach)). Ron Paul back stage at a speaking event. Several big name comic book & Sci Fi people from various conventions I've attended. But nothing has matched the feeling of unreal excitement I had when Al came out on stage. I couldn't believe that I was seeing him, live and in person, with my own two eyes! I took my son with me and we had great seats. Third row, only about 10' from the stage. The following two hours was one of the most amazing times of my life!

I did hang around by the bus afterward. I was about 25 people from the front of the line and there were about 75 behind me. They "encouraged" us to get our autograph and picture and move along quickly. I had so much I wanted to tell him, worked on it in my head to make it as concise as possible, then when I got to him I totally flubbed it up and was almost speechless! I did manage to get out that I had been a fan for 30 years and it was a fantastic show.

Almost 24 hours later and I'm still floating on a Weird Al high!
