Still, people should know how to say Al's last name, as well as spell it by now.

I guess 30 years isn't enough to learn it . The most surprising thing about this particular mistake is that the announcer claims to have known about Al since childhood. Probably lying (also he looks Al's age at best, how could he be going to school by the time of "Eat it").

I go off on people all the time for getting names wrong. It's a huge pet peeve of mine. Get it right or don't say it all! I mean it's stupid how can you get a name wrong if it's everywhere? And a name like Yankovic is everywhere.
