Let's make it happen, people!!
Here's my email to NJPAC:
To Whom It May Concern,
On behalf of all New Jersey/tristate area fans, please consider booking "Weird Al" Yankovic for a concert performance. Both your event calendar and his 2015 tour schedule coincide with a window of free time between August 1st-3rd. In our opinion, it would be an ideal tentpole event for your venue this summer.
Thank you!
(Philadelphia just got booked for July 31st. It's still not too late!)

Unless that's Als scheduled break time, or the date is already booked and they haven't been able to announce it yet

I have an educated hunch that Al's got NYC-area dates scheduled around then, but can't announce yet because of the Governor's Ball.

That's what I've been thinking all along, and I'm watching those empty dates like a hawk. Look at that break, before the Philly show was announced. It started in Maine, and ends in Massachusetts. I don't see them packing up, heading home for a week, and going right back to New England, and now that Philly show is right in the middle of that break. I have a feeling you'll be seeing a PNC show announced any day now, as well as Long Island, maybe Atlantic City/northern NJ/southeast CT/NYC metro. PNC is free July 27th-28th.
Also, the title of this thread stopped my heart for a second.

The plot thickens...

Al's going to be in Morristown, NJ on Aug. 2 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center! (And Count Basie Theater in Red Bank on July 28.)
