Do't get me wrong, I had a great time at that show, but, IMHO any venue where you need to compete with multiple livestock shows kinda has hokey built right in.

And this is a veterinarian talking... dissing your own métier, Doctor? :P

Upon graduation from veterinary college, I took a solemn vow to never ever touch another cow, unless it was with a fork.

I just like keeping my polka medlies and Pasturella seperate... :)

My po-dunky-est Weird Al experience was at Delhi, NY last tour. The show was on a basketball court on the campus of SUNY-Delhi.

The baskets were raised to accommodate the bleachers and chairs. One of the baskets came crashing down and some of Al's crew had to raise it again.

I think Al and the guys had to change in the locker rooms. That's what it looked like from the front row, anyway!

But, I do give mad props to the Delhi student body -- they voted for Weird Al to perform instead of Carrot Top!
