#3: Does it REALLY matter if a fantasy set list thread is associated with a album or not? I found a separate Fantasy Set List thread for a UHF tour. Maybe they should all be merged into one topic and called "Fantasy set lists" Either way, as far as this thread is concerned,
#2: Again, an email saying "we feel this topic closely relates to another topic, so we're closing the one you started" is much more polite to newbies than to call them out publicly, particularly because I DID do a search and obviously used the wrong key words. Even so, I still would have started a new topic because there were topics associated with several albums and none with no album.
#3: Yes, it matters. As a musician, you should know that a tour associated with an album is going to pull heavily from that album (SOL tour had 6 new songs in it, plus 3 more in the medley), while an off-album tour pulls from the entire catalog.
I can see the difference between this thread and that thread.
