This is where my family and I went to our first Al concert, back in 2007. It's a nice venue, with a rotating stage... what Al likes to call a "whirlygig".
I'm excited that it's on a Friday night (not a school night)!
We may go to this one!

The PAID presale date has been changed to Friday, June 22 at 10 am ET.
I was trying to buy tickets at 10 am, and the link wasn't showing. I tried refreshing & using different browsers for about 5 minutes, but nothing. I called PAID, the lady said she'd have someone fix it in 2 minutes. The "buy now" link still doesn't show, but then the date was changed!

Well, doesnt he have to RUN all the way down through the crowd into the back, change into costume. and then RUN ALL THE WAY back to the stage?
I heard him talking about it on the Nerdist podcast.

I know! I mentioned Al on twitter about it, and i know he's an early riser (because of Nina) and he might be able to have someone fix it.

Please note that this show is an abbreviated performance and will last approximately 90 minutes.
I wonder what the reason for the shortened set is... also wondering whether it's worth it to pay the same price for a show that's so much shorter.

The presale is still Friday at 10 am.
They just fixed the link, so you can see the ticket info (show time, prices, and rows set aside for presale).

That's one thing that they've been doing...well will start doing in the Summer West tour. The shows in Folsom (3), Eugene, and West Wendover are all 90 minute abbreviated performances.

I can understand the Folsom shows being shortened, since there are three shows in 2 days at the same venue. Eugene makes sense, too, since it is at a fair where they might be restricted on time.
There's no obvious reason to me why they would shorten the show in Beverly. They have played 2 full shows there in the past, and it's a shorter drive to the next gig than it was the last time they were there.
I hope this isn't a sign of how the concerts will be in future years...
