We will try to be there, but don't hold up dinner for us. Not sure what's going on yet. We'll be heading up after we wake up and may or may not meet up with our friends before the show, and may or may not go out to dinner before the show. More details may or may not follow.

For some reason, I was thinking this show was going to start at 7:00 pm instead of 7:30 pm; that's why I wanted to eat earlier. We will try to meet you guys there at 5:30 pm. It looks like there will be plenty of rain and wind all day and tonight as well, so I wouldn't count on a bus-side meet & greet. :(

I wonder how busy this place will be on a Friday night... should we make a reservation for about 10 people?

I'm not sure if I'm going to make the restaurant. Traffic is terrible!

First time in 161 concerts that I have been late. We left home at 5AM, and didn't get in Beverly until 8:15. Don't understand why people in CT and MA can not drive in the rain, but traffic was stalled everywhere. There wasn't one minute during our driving that it stopped raining. We had so many delays in CT. Most ridiculous day of driving that we have ever encountered anywhere.

Anyway, when I made it into the show during Lovr, I stopped at the merch stand and talked with her for awhile. So, that I wouldn't be distracting to Al, or anyone else, coming in the middle of the song.

The medley was a really cool way to start out a show, and I'm glad that I didn't miss it...as I would say it's my favorite part.

Coffee shop was Marino's Cafe on Rantoul Street.

Saga Begins was really cool, as there was an extended intro to get everyone on stage. Ruben ushered in the stormtroopers, and they came down the aisle right next to where I was sitting. Then, there was another sort of extended intro, for Al to get on stage. At the "this boy.." part of the first verse, Steve came on stage then, which I found hilarious. And, since there were so many people on stage, they didn't rotate the stage during the song, so it was played to my section, the entire time.

It was a really cool night to with all the different perspectives due to the rotating stage of the whirly-gig. That's one reason why I enjoy these types of venues so much. But, they're also small, intimate, and it seems like it makes the crowd more energetic.

The Amish Paradise arm wave was one of the most energetic crowds that I have seen, and made that song really cool. Also, with the way that Al was able to work the stage, going around to each various section. Made one of my least favorite songs pretty fun.

After the show, talked to Al at the bus, and Dave got big props. Asked Al if there was one thing that he wished was in the book that wasn't, and he said Elvis's tattoo. I absolutely agree. Then, I made sure to let Al know that Dave and Little Jimmy said Hi.

Really fun night, and nice to be able to relax after the worst traveling day of our life.

The traffic in MA was more due to "onlooker traffic." There was a 5 car accident on the opposite side of the highway near Wakefield, MA, and everyone slows down to look at it. The fact that it was rush hour and there were lane shifts due to ongoing road work in the area made for quite a traffic nightmare. As soon as we passed that area, the traffic cleared up, so the rain wasn't what caused the traffic.

Um, no it wasn't. The coffee shop was the Atomic Cafe on Cabot Street. How did you come up with Marino's Cafe?

OK, thanks for the coffee shop correction. It was jumbled where I was sitting, and I did my best google guessing for this show.
