Maybe he realizes it's no good, leaked it, and now he'll quickly make polka video, and when everyone is expecting (not too entusiasticly) "Sport Song" video on the 8th day, BAM!

I always wonder if maybe Al announces some song titles, then comes on this forum and sees what we want, and THEN writes the parodies. For example, before the album leaked or anything and we only had titles, and a guy said "If Foil isn't about food, I hope it's about conspiracies" and then boom...think about it. The Aluminati.

Considering the CD had already been pressed for a couple of weeks before we had song titles, I'm going to go with... no.

To each his own, I guess. I loved it and had to watch it three times before going in to work; will watch it again when I get home. It's a brilliant song, and the fact that he got a real marching band to perform it on a real field feels kinda mini-epic. And it's funny seeing the not-exactly-young guys from the band marching along with.

Not every video is going to be a big, expensive production. Not every video has to make every consumer pee their pants in awe. This simple little one was clearly done quickly (no formation choreography) and probably on a small budget, but I still love it. What a great way to start my morning.
