It means that they're still trying to figure out where in the venue to have the party and VIP area, most likely. If the other e-mail you'll get is confusing, I recommend calling the venue directly. I had this problem, and they cleared it up nicely.

Yeah true. It just wasn't the email I was expecting. They'll probably end up figuring it out and if they don't I'll just have to make some phone calls

I'm going on the 17th & awaiting my email. Last year it was 5 days before the show. Good to know they seem to be running a bit late this year.

Yeah, it seems to vary by location. I got mine 13 days before the show. I guess the venues that don't have their ducks in a row regarding the VIP situation are the ones that have CID send the e-mail closer to the show date. The VIP situation is usually the same (costume contest, etc.), so you can just see what one of the other shows' experiences was like and plan accordingly.
