Yeah, it is. If you don't request a different face he will generally always use that one. The standard ok here we go smile.

Wait, people actually request specific expressions  ? "Al, could you look less awkward and show some teeth please?" . That's so weird.

Just saw a backstage video of Smells Like Teen Spirit. At the break in the beginning, someone is singing Oklahoma into a mic. Did they do this thru-out? Get local talent instead of using the clips?

How did Japanese, European etc. fans learn English so they could appreciate Al's music over the years, or are all Al's overseas fans college-educated? or are there Al impressionists overseas that sing his lyrics in native languages?

Did the Garrison fly out with them to Europe & is going to follow them around?

Went to reddit and went onto a translating subreddit. Asked them to translate the Yoda Chant verbatim (every single word). They wouldn't touch it.

What does Grona Lund mean semantically?

Read the first Swedish review. 'Douchebagen'??

Answers?

Almost all non-stupid Europeans are college-educated (especially younger generation), because it's either relatively cheap or even free if you have above-average grades. Also almost all young people are quite good in English. It's because people download movies and TV shows in original language, and that really helps with understanding spoken English. Older people aren't computer-savvy and less educated, so their English is significantly worse. If you're in Europe and you need to ask for directions, ask a young person.

Al looks AMAZING. <3

And I am particularly excited for this because -- has Al EVER been this far out touring before?! Into Sweden?!

Just incredible how far he reaches with his music, and presence. <3

Looks about normal, except I notice Al was wearing a traditional red Hawaiian shirt during Lame Claim rather than the Tacky outfit minus the jacket.
I would be interested to know if there were any uniquely Swedish moments in the show. Do you know if it was the standard Mandatory Fun setlist? Any songs cut out (or added?!?)?
That is the Tacky outfit minus the jacket. The Red Hawaiian Shirt is one of 6 (IIRC) Rotating shirts this tour, and if you look closely, you can see the tacky pants in said pictures.

So many questions so little time. I am assuming you haven't been to an Al concert this tour, as the clip before SLN is from a TV Special, in which a Sumo Wrestler is popping grapes out of his belly button into Al and Jims mouths while singing "Oklahoma". So no, they do not use local talent.

The Star Wars people are not the same on each tour date. They are basically a fan club, who has locations all around the world, in which they make their own costumes and stuff like that, so he always asks one in a town near where he is playing to perform with him.

Finally, there is already a transcript of the Yoda Chant...

I just compared my memories with the setlist I found here:
http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/weird-al- ... 49ee1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Wanna B Ur Lovr was missing - very sad as Al is going to the people in this one. I think all other songs have been performed... And I do not imagine an additional one... Miss Skipper Dan :( But this seems to be a general tour "feature" :(

Cheers, back in Cologne - meet some of you hopefully in the European capital of brothels, drugs and tiny canals aka Amsterdam next Wednesday :)

Why?? :o European ladies deserve some weird love too  . Now I'm kind of happy I'm not going to the concerts, because if I did, I'd be devastated right now

Only when it is a GA show he will not do it. Apparently Sweden wants all shows done by 10pm too, if people aren't seated he can't walk amongst them and do Lovr properly. It will be done when there is a seated crowd. Surprised though they didn't add You Make Me or something because it would be better than losing 10 minutes of performance, either way, they will do it at the shows that are not general admission and have seats.
