The NH crowd was greatly enthusiastic and seemed to know exactly the kind of songs they were in for.

Definitely sounds like everybody who is attending is aware and has a grasp on the idea of this tour. They also seem to love it and stuff is more exciting than ever! It's crazy that this is not happening until now.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Maybe it's wrong of me to say, but I do hope he changes up the encore. The Saga Begins is probably one of my least favorite Al tunes. And seeing how it's been performed pretty much continually since Running With Scissors, I'd like/hope he has plans to do maybe some other parody that hasn't been done in a long while.
A minor nitpick, for sure, since this tour's setlists are something I've been waiting for for the last 30+ years.

My first wish is that Al does exactly what he wants to do this tour. But I would personally rather hear something besides The Saga Begins (or any other song he has played a lot through the years). Maybe if he's getting a good vibe that people are loving the "deep cuts", he will be more comfortable ending on a less "safe" song. On the other hand, it is an encore and I understand why it makes sense to include just one standard parody.

It's certainly not wrong to say. I'd rather Yoda even minus the chant for time consuming reasons. There's no saying they won't change it at any point.

I feel the same, I wish it was all parodies (Except the cover is good) But if he needs to do a parody thought it would have been cool if it changed every night, and ones that hadn't been done in full in years, IE (Original) Like A Suergon, Living With A Hernia, Stop draggin my car around, ect.

Edit: Or even better: I'll Repair for you!

It’s extras from Al’s personal stash. I agree the prices are too high but they are betting on a captive audience and impulse buy. The venue also takes a cut of merchandise sales so that factors in too. I gave my opinion on what I felt would be fair prices but in the end they only ended up lowering one thing.

It would be cool if they started doing a different parody each night for the encore, maybe even some deep cuts (Toothless People?). I still don't get Saga Begins as the encore for the first 4 shows. I mean, it's based off of a great song and they probably have fun performing it, but the subject matter.....a TERRIBLE movie that did not age well. At least Yoda has a history of closing out the shows. Glad to see the pattern finally broken today. I bet Al's gonna keep us guessing this entire tour!

Agreed about replacing The Saga Begins with Yoda, even without the chant. Even though Saga's a great song musically, Yoda's the better ending. Switch it up, Al! :)
