Argh, they NEED to play this at the 2nd NYC show. My fiancée and I are using that song in our wedding later this year!!

We're only 3 shows in, with more than 70 to go. It's WAAAY too early to make any tour wide assumptions. They might be sick of Jackson in another week or two and shelf it for a while.

Well thanks again Muppetboy. Your no Muppetboy09 to me. You'll always be Muppetboy01 of this forum! And to Dave who put the guy on tweet duty, that was pretty essential. :peace:

Fantastic show tonight, surprised that there was no Fun Zone, was stoked to hear Biggest Ball of Twine, when was the last time he played that, I swore I remember is a few tours ago? Al said this was the first time Good Enough for Now had ever been played live, and it sounded great. This was also the first time for Nature Trail To Hell since 1985, another great one live. When Al said he was playing a Christmas song for a moment I was hoping it would be Ground Zero but Santa Went Crazy is great too. Man, I wish I could to more shows, but time and money ya know?

Was Santa the original version, extra gory version, or the half/half they did on the RWS tour?

Pretty sure it was the whole Extra Gory version, can’t remember what he played on the RWS tour, was so long ago...

Thanks! On the RWS tour he did the "...Now santa clause is dead..." But switched back to the original for "Now vixin's in therapy..." Instead of continuing with "Now there's no more presents for the children's enjoyment, and the elves have to stand in line and file for unemployment!"

Apparently I was wrong, Al hasn’t played Ball of Twine since the Bad Hair Day tour in 1996, which was a few years before I first saw him in concert, so I suppose I hadn’t seen it before. Fantastic song, sounds great live. One thing that Al doesn’t get enough credit for is his ability to play these marathon songs, and not screw up the words at any point (although I think he mumbled a few words in Biggest Ball of Twine this evening) which is super impressive especially for a song like Albuquerque that is so non stop frantic.

They're using teleprompters this tour. Even on the parody medley and Saga Begins! So that at least makes it harder for him to FORGET lyrics.

(Using some precious remaining battery power to post this...)

That show was just amazing.

Emo was great. Had not seen his stand up before. It is dark. Sooo dark. Yet cuddly somehow.

The the 4 opening songs! "Dare to be Stupid", Nature Trail to Hell, Good Enough for now! It was all very casual and they looked like they loved performing.

Some songs I'd "hoped he would do" (e.g. Melanie, Mr. Frump, Happy Birthday, Buy me a Condo...) i see that he has done in previous shows. I used to mock my brother for following Phish on tour but this ... this is one tour that following would make sense for. I see there are still tix for Montreal ... :)
