I meant to ask Al if he had to persuade someone to get his hands on the Apollo hook or if it's just sitting backstage for the taking.

OMG, what a freakin show. I had a great seat in the first row lower balcony. A different vantage point from Thursday, where I was 4th row on the floor.
I've seen many bands over the years play back-to-back nights in the same venue (Green Day, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Kiss) - sure the set-list changed somewhat, but there were still a bunch of repeats. And then came AL at the Apollo. Besides the parody medley, all different songs than Thursday night. As a concert goer (and fan of Weird Al) who always pays attention to setlists, holy sh*t!!!
Was texting with an out-of-town friend (who loves Weird Al) on Friday afternoon. I literally told him that I'd love to hear Dare to be Stupid, UHF, Dog Eat Dog, and Albuquerque - since I didn't hear it on Thursday, or in Long Island last weekend. Sure enough, WOW.
Other minor takeaways - I generally will appreciate a song more after seeing it live. Always liked Mr. Popeil... now I love it. Especially Al "trading" vocals with Jim/Steve. Albuquerque - the bit where he "starts the song over"... priceless. I don't think he did that when I heard it at Westbury about 10 years ago?
Only know a few Neil Young songs - Cinnamon Girl wasn't one of them. Still fun to see Al playing guitar.

Wow I cannot wait to at least hear (hopefully see) Al's electric guitar debut! And what a song to start with!
