That's why I'm willing to sell mine under the price that was paid originally. We were 4 people at first, but are now unfortunately down to 2.

Really no one interested in buying my two spare tickets? :( Ebay doesn't seem to attract enough people these days (low number of hits for my offer there). A bit strange to see that the shows of the tour are selling well, but I can't get rid of tickets at face value or maybe even under.

Does anyone think there might be people showing up directly at the Apollo looking for tickets? I could try printing them out and offer them to people in front of the theater... or is that forbidden in NYC?

Sorry for pushing this so much, but I'm getting a bit antsy by now.

I think it’s technically illegal to scalp tickets in front of the theater but I’ve seen it done. Not sure what the technicalities of selling for face value in front of the theater are.

Did you try stub hub? Talking to someone last night seems like New Yorkers or people who work there buy a lot of tickets day of the show off of Stub Hub. It’s like I’m done working, and want to see a show tonight, what’s available?

I'm attending this one alone and have Stalder & Waldorf seats in a box I'm sharing with up to 4 other people, so I don't mind updating the setlist as it happens. I don't tweet, but I can do it in here.

@ Elvis:
Stubhub doesn't seem to attract anyone either. Lowered the price a few times already and will loose all the money that was originally paid for the tickets (around $187) or, if they sell in these last few moments before the show, about $85 at the current prive level because of the fees that Stubhub charges. I also think that the fees that they charge the buyer will effectively kill my chances to get rid of them. I would give them away for a much lower price now, but at Stubhub an interested buyer would be charged an additional fee which is quite ridiculous. Selling/buying tickets there is a two-way rip-off.

Well, can't be helped... I hope the show will make my girlfriend and me forget about the monetary loss. And after all, it's been a pretty good time in New York so far and we still have a few days left. :)

Does anyone ever try cashortrade.org? Their philosophy is so much better than Stubhub, etc. Wish more people used it.

Wow, that's a nice shirt....but $70? Is it make out of real silk??

I'll be here around 8:30. You can all watch me look like a jerk from the left side balcony box. I think this'll be the least amount of distance I've ever traveled to see a Weird Al concert!
