I might have an extra ticket to sell at face value. Figured I'd go ahead and mention it here first.

I bet they do Nature Trail tonight considering it is Friday The 13th. Just a guess, Al may mention something about it before they play it.

I just saw in a video that he stops midway through Close But No Cigar to apologize for the "all choked up like Mama Cass" line

Before the Medley, he said that they always leave the stage and then come back out for an encore. He asked the crowd if they could just stay out on stage for this show. The crowed applauded. He said that when he says it will be the last song, it really will be, ok? The crowd kind of said 'no'. He asked "should we leave the stage then"? The crowd kind of said 'no'. He said, "well you can't have it both ways". Something like that. They never left the stage. Can't remember if it was before or after the cover, he said "I know what you want. You want us to stay here on stage, but not play anything, right?" Then, he got out is phone like he was checking messages, etc. and the band was just hanging out. I think Steve stared into the crowd. The crowd was laughing, applauding, screaming, etc. He eventually said something like "well, maybe we should play one more song" or something. It was fun!

Nature Trail to Hell lighting looked a bit different from when I saw it in Lexington. Maybe it was just my angle. But they pumped in quite a bit of fog and the lights made big wide red clouds over the crowd - very 3D effect. Man, that song is so epic live! With Al playing the string solo on accordion, the ratchet, and Bermuda screaming. Unfortunately, the crowd always goes nuts during the first fake ending and I can't hear the little melody there. Hopefully, it will come through on the recordings later.

Hi,
I am trying out my new sports and travel blog on my trip and write about my travels to the three stages in Chattanooga, Augusta and Atlanta.

Here is the link to the Chattanooga stage, which also contains a some 169 picture gallery. Cool show in a very intimate venue:
